BLACKPINK THE MOVIE เป็นหนึ่งในผลงานของโปรเจกต์ 4+1 PROJECT ฉลองครบรอบ 5 ปีของ BLACKPINK ที่ประกาศออกมาเมื่อวันที่ 15 มิถุนายนที่ผ่านมา ในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้แฟนๆ ชาว BLINK จะได้ชมเนื้อหาอันหลากหลาย ตั้งแต่ “The Room of Memories” (ห้องแห่งความทรงจำ), “Beauty” (ความงาม), บทสัมภาษณ์พิเศษที่ไม่เคยเปิดเผยที่ไหนมาก่อน รวมถึงฟุตเทจภาพเบื้องหลังทัวร์คอนเสิร์ตอันยิ่งใหญ่ของ BLACKPINK ทั้งทัวร์ In Your Area เมื่อปี 2018 และคอนเสิร์ตออนไลน์ล่าสุด The Show เมื่อช่วงต้นปี 2021
